Beelogical started in 2013. For more than a decade, we built software. Custom platforms, internal tools, integrations, AI systems, whatever the brief asked for. The work pulled in the kind of team that does that work properly. AI engineers. Developers. Strategists. Designers. Marketers. People who'd seen enough engagements to know the difference between a workaround and a system.
While we were doing that work, we kept seeing the same pattern across the D2C brands we touched.
Growth was happening. But it wasn't compounding.
Brands were investing in websites, ads, and content. The backend wasn't built to support scale. Attribution gaps. Broken checkout journeys. No structured retention. Revenue that spiked and didn't sustain.
The diagnosis took years to fully land. We watched founder after founder spend on the parts and lose on the whole. Around the time we'd seen it for the twentieth time, we stopped treating it as a coincidence and started treating it as the actual problem.
By 2026, two things were clear. The problem in Indian D2C was structural, not tactical. And the team we'd quietly built over the previous decade was exactly the team that could fix it.
So we made the call. Beelogical would double down on ecommerce. Not as an add-on to the software work. As a core focus.
Most brands in India are still stitching this together themselves. Tools, agencies, dashboards, and guesswork. That's the gap we're stepping into, with the team we already had.
